Jewellers set to take part in East London Design Show next month.
A group of five emerging designers that took part in this year’s KickStarter program at IJL have joined forces to launch new jewellery collective Future Facets.
The group, made up of designers Anna Byers, Christiana Christoforou, Sara Gunn, Rosie Sanders and Phoebe Sherwood-Moore, are now set to take part in the East London Design Show (ELDS) together at the Truman Brewery between December 5 and 8.
The group described ELDS as the first in a long line of collaborations, exhibitions and events as Future Facets. A statement from the group said: “We’re excited about launching Future Facets at the East London Design Show, it’s the perfect opportunity to bring together our individual aesthetic styles and we’re working on a stand design that reflects this.
"Future Facets is an energetic and creative mix of people; we’re delighted to be working together as a collective and are looking forward to seeing what comes from next from the collaboration.”
The five designers originally met when they were hand-picked for KickStart by the British Jeweller’s Association (BJA) and IJL as the next rising stars in the jewellery industry. They have previously exhibited together in London, Leeds and Edinburgh as part of the KickStart programme.
