Albemarle & Bond appoints new Director

John Farrell joins the company from the Publicis Group.

Albemarle & Bond has announced the appointment of John Farrell as new non-executive Director.

Farrell will be taking the place of Nicholas Mardon Taylor, who has been with the company for over 20 years and is to retire in March this year.

Farrell, who will join Albemarle & Bond this June, was President & CEO of Specialised Agencies & Marketing Services of Publicis Group from 2003 to 2009. He was also a member of the group’s Executive Board and responsible for the strategic oversight of their M&A activities.

Farrell is presently on the board of Huntsworth plc and media, marketing and advertising companies including Albion and Voiamo.

“We are also very pleased to welcome John Farrell to the Board. He is a highly experienced non-executive Director with an outstanding track record in growing businesses in consumer related multi channel industries, which will be highly relevant to Albemarle & Bond as we embark on our five year growth plan.”

The company has also appointed Collins Stewart Limited as its new Nominal Advisor and corporate banker.
