Alex Monroe enjoyed a record breaking year with its 12 Days of Christmas event.
Each year, Alex Monroe produces a Christmas Advent Calendar online which starts on Dec 1 and goes on until Dec 12.
Each day a new exclusive limited edition Christmas-inspired jewel is launched at 1pm on a first come first serve basis.
This was Alex Monroe’s 6th anniversary of the festive event and it was a record breaking one for the British brand.
Each limited edition piece, despite its price point sold out within hours.
The best selling was its ginger bread house at £285. The brand had 12 pieces available which sold out within five minutes.
At its peak Alex Monroe had eight times more traffic on its website than normal each day around the time each piece was launched.
The brand comments: “We had one customer in Dubai who missed out on a Christmas pudding and called us desperate to get a hold of one. As the pieces are exclusive to12 days we only make so many thought, but there’s always next year.”
All of Alex Monroe’s pieces are handmade in England.
This year’s 12 Days of Christmas collection included necklaces, bracelets, earrings and spoons in festive motifs including gingerbread men, a mirror, a Christmas pudding and more.
