Lower-priced collection will open up new markets for jeweller.
Jewellery designer Alexander Davis is teaming up with jewellery retail website My Flash Trash founder Amber Atherton to create a collaborative collection.
The collection will be a creative mix of Davis’ and Atherton’s influences and will be set at a lower price point, opening up new market’s for Davis. The duo are planning to sell the collection online exclusively through My Flash Trash initially and through traditional wholesale channels.
There is no date as yet when the collection will be available.
Davis currently sells his jewellery through My Flash Trash, which works as a middle man by promoting designers, selling the collections through its site and taking a commission but not holding any stock.
Atherton is a 19-year-old who is in her first year of study at London College of Fashion. Described as "fabulous urban luxe jewellery", Atherton’s venture into jewellery retail began at boarding school in Hong Kong, where she bought and sold pieces she found while travelling around the world.
