Investment will make all courses accessible virtually later this year.
The National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG) is planning to make all of its training courses available online by the third quarter of 2010.
The modernisation of the courses is part of a wider investment in the association which includes the development and redevelopment of training courses, the upgrading of its IT infrastructure and the development of the anti-crime initiative SaferGems that it runs in coordination with insurance broker TH March.
At the NAG’s general meeting in London yesterday, chief executive Michael Hoare said: “We’ve had an interesting year financially. We have chosen to invest in the future of the association.”
