Retailer takes home Blackmore Value Business Excellence gong.

Allum & Sidaway has been named a winner in the Blackmore Vale Business Excellence Awards, taking home the top prize for customer services.

The independent family-run business operates stores in Dorchester, Salisbury, Gillingham, Ringwood and Shaftesbury. It was a finalist in four categories at the awards – Retailer of the Year, Family Business of the Year, Employee of the Year and Customer Service, taking home the prize for Customer Service, during celebrations at the George Albert Hotel on September 18.

Jason Allum, managing director of Allum & Sidaway, said: “It is a fantastic endorsement to have our customer service recognised; it is simply the heart of our business and forms our values and ethos as a retailer. We are very proud to receive this award and congratulate our store teams for their hard work and dedication.
