Annoushka founder pledges to support London Jewellery Week.

Annoushka Ducas, owner and founder of jewellery brand Annoushka, has signed as a patron of London Jewellery Week.

The designer has pledged to support the event which will take place in London from June 7 to 13.

Annoushka has recently teamed up with her friend the sculptress Manuela Zervudachi for a special jewellery collection. The 18ct gold and diamond limited-edition collection explores the relationship between scale, form and texture.

The collection, called Manuela, will be on display at Annoushka’s flagship store at Cadogen Gardens in London.

Talking of the collaboration Duccas said: “I have collected Manuela’s sculpture for over 20 years and have found her ability to relate to the organic world enormously inspiring. I have long been fascinated by the close association between sculpture and jewellery and was compelled to explore the transformation of Manuela’s beautiful, large bronze structures into something small and precious that can be worn and enjoyed every day.

“I recognise the raw and tactile sensibilities of Manuela’s pieces within my own work. This collection has really been an exciting journey through the translation of two art forms.”
