Annoushka unveils ceramic art installation for LJW

This Disarming sculpture is a 19th century Continental Parian-ware figure of the Venus de Milo displaying assorted jewels by Annoushka.

London retailer collaborates with sculptor Bouke de Vries.

Annoushka has collaborated with celebrated ceramics sculptor Bouke de Vries on a special art installation at its Sloane Square store as part of its celebrations for London Jewellery Week.

The installation features works of art that made from reclaimed broken ceramics that integrate jewels and semi-precious stones. Works on display at the shop include a rose made from broken pieces of porcelain with a hand extending from the centre holding a gold bee charm, a porcelain doll’s head featuring two rings hung on the face to replicate a pair of glasses, and a pair of broken ceramic ducks displaying a pearl-set 18ct gold ring.

The works will be on display at the Annoushka store for one month, after which they will be sold. De Vries’ work tends to attract collectors and Annoushka is confident about selling the works, which will be sold with the Annoushka jewellery that is displayed on it.
