Anticipation and excitement is already building for the inaugural Professional Jeweller Awards, which takes place on September 4 (the second night of IJL) at Kensington Roof Gardens, the most exclusive indoor/outdoor event space in Central London.
The Professional Jeweller Awards has a unique judging process, as each category is voted for by the industry in two phases.
Phase one has already been completed, as members of the UK jewellery industry had the opportunity to vote for the retailers and suppliers they most admire and believe are worthy winners across our 16 categories.
In phase two we will be asking jewellery suppliers to vote on the shortlisted retailers, and retailers to vote on the shortlisted suppliers through a private survey.
“This is an event created to celebrate the extraordinary success of the UK jewellery industry, and the people who have contributed to making this one of the world’s most professional and exciting markets,” comments Professional Jeweller editor, Stacey Hailes.
“This voting process gives the Professional Jeweller Awards their authority, and means they are truly valued by the industry because winners are chosen by the industry,” adds Professional Jeweller commercial manager Sheni Sampson.
We are pleased to announced that the shortlist for the Professional Jeweller awards will be announced next week, with the anonymous online voting process launching shortly after.
