AOB launches multi-territory testing

The AnchorCert Analytical Laboratory at Assay Office Birmingham has launched the first multi-territory test for lead and cadmium in jewellery and accessories.

AnchorCert Analytical’s team of leading analysts have created a ‘One Test, Multiple Territories’ service at its Birmingham Jewellery Quarter HQ.

The multi-territory test will offer retailers, wholesalers and brands a single test to ensure products meet the standards of directives from the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada.

This unique test is only available from AnchorCert Analytical. It was developed through close working relationships with key clients who required a high-quality, efficient and reliable means of testing products to ensure their suitability for a number of global markets.

The new multi-territory test enables businesses to test products for lead and/or cadmium content against the EU REACH Directive, the USA’s Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), PROP 65: California’s Metal Containing Jewellery Law (in adult and children’s jewellery) and the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).
