Belfast-based retailer expands to the Big Smoke

Argento is set to open its first London store this Saturday, November 6, in Brunswick Square.

The company’s North London shop will stock its own collections Karma, Abeeba and men’s range Guise as well as the hugely popular Danish brand Pandora. It will also carry pieces from Thomas Sabo, Pilgrim and Jackie Brazil.

Chief executive of Argento, Pete Boyle said, “We are very excited about our first London opening. Although we are very lucky to have been in the position that we’ve been opening stores across the UK in the last few years, we had been waiting for the right opportunity to come up in London. We feel it’s important to give our customers in the South East the chance to visit an Argento store, rather than having to travel further North or shopping solely via our website. I visit London regularly and think it’s hard to beat the buzz around the shops there.”

The UK expansion sees the company invest £360,000 in new stores, despite the economic gloom, and create scores of new jobs for the area. Argento boasts 30 stores nationwide and an ethos that ensures their designers are hand-picked from all over the world.
