Art and nature collide in Objet d’Art collections

Sheila Pickles designs inspired by art, literature and nature.

The worlds of art, literature and nature have come together in a series of collections of jewellery by Sheila Pickles, designing for Objects d’Art.

Four individual collections: Great Masters, Arts & Crafts, Literature and Nature, feature pieces inspired by the legendary creators from Rembrandt to Shakespeare, and from butterflies to woodlands and flowers.

Sheila Pickles was formerly the creator and managing director of perfumery Penhaligon’s.

The Objects d’Art collections include:

The Great Masters collection of necklaces, rings, brooches, bangles, bracelets and earrings inspired by the works of Monet, Rembrandt, Klimt, Cezanne and Vermeer.

The Arts & Crafts Collection inspired by the movements two main figures: Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret Macdonald

The Literature Collection of contemporary classic pieces inspired by William Shakespeare. Pieces take their form from Shakespeare’s infamous heroines including Titania, Cleopatra, Juliet, Portia and Desdemona.

The Nature Collection is the most modern of the collections, with pieces inspired by the sea, earth and heavens as well as smaller part of nature, butterflies and bees, woodlands, dragonflies and flora.

All of Objets d’Art Collections use only quality materials; 925 silver, 18 carat goldplated silver, pearls and dozens of different gemstones.

Retail prices range from £50-250.
