Rachel Boston’s jewellery stems from a fascination with insect collecting, focused on the strange nature of insect collectors who claim to love insects but in the process kill them and display them as trophies.
Her work is described as wearable trophies, with pieces including the silver Elytra bangle decorated with real beetle wings, and aims to blend man-made and the natural objects seamlessly.
Boston has also just completed a diamond graduate course at the GIA in New York.
