The compact-sized Vacuum & Pressure Casting Machine VPC 040 has been specially designed for jewellers producing small volumes of product. The machine can process gold, silver, platinum and palladium alloys, and can create between two and 50 casts a week.
The machine was developed after requests from designer-makers who wanted a tabletop machine that could produce casts at a more affordable cost. Schultheiss said that the VPC 040 has a much improved price-performance ratio.

The machine, the first of its kind at Schultheiss, will be launched at BaselWorld.
