Marketing initiative The Jewellery Vault swaps vouchers for new biz.
Astley Clarke has launched a new marketing initiative on its website that allows shoppers to build up free credit to spend with the online retailer.
The initiative, which Astley Clarke has branded The Jewellery Vault, invites shoppers to refer friends to the site and each friend that they refer will receive a £25 gift voucher to redeem when they spend £60 or more with the online jewellery retailer. When that friend redeems the voucher and makes a purchase the original referee will in turn receive a £25 gift voucher seven days later.
Astley Clarke claim that there is no limit to the number of £25 gift vouchers that a referee can receive, and the referring link can be shared by social networking sites Twitter and Facebook, as well as email, so the potential for links to go viral is huge.
The small print reads that friends referred who are already Astley Clarke customers are not permissible as part of The Jewellery Vault and so referees will not win vouchers for returning customers but new business only.
