Holdings group sees 42,000 take part in Brilliance Incentive scheme

Aurum Holdings has announced it ran a special incentive scheme during the Christmas period to drive its retail sales.

The group, whose retail stores include Mappin & Webb, Goldsmiths and Watches of Switzerland, saw over 42,000 members of staff take part in the scheme which was rolled out across 170 UK stores.

With a focus on diamond jewellery and diamond-set watches the scheme ran from mid-August to the end of 2010, with points awarded for diamond sales. Each staff member’s points were entered into a prize draw on the basis of the more points gained and entered the higher a chance of winning a prize.

The Brilliance Incentive Scheme was a real success with all our employees. We recognise the value of team incentivisation as it makes a direct impact on job satisfaction and motivation."

Christine Platt of Goldsmiths in Cambridge came first in the prize draw, winning a new Fiat 500. A further 58 prizes were awarded to staff members including travel vouchers, iPads and hampers.
