David Harnby steps up, Paul Winslow retires and Seiko reshuffles team.
Binda UK general manager David Harnby has stepped up to join the board of directors at Seiko.
Harnby has taken the place of Paul Winslow, who is retiring from Seiko after 30 years with the company.
While still maintaining his role at Binda, Harnby will now also assume overall responsibility for the sales and marketing of all of Seiko’s brands: Pulsar, Lorus, Seiko, D&G, Breil and Morellato.
Seiko has made a number of other appointments simultaneously.
Nick Jackson has been hired as national account sales manager for Seiko watches, Seiko clocks and Lorus clocks; David North has been promoted to brand manager at Seiko; Mark Willingham has taken on a new role of field sales manager at Seiko; Simon Bates has joined Lorus as national account manager; and Stuart Kenrick has been promoted to the newly created position of sales manager at Binda UK.
Seiko UK managing director Hiro Ouchi said: “The changes we have made are designed to make us more responsive to the needs of our retail partners and to bring growth to their businesses with our brands.”
