BJA to launch British Jewellery Exports programme

Organisation to widen success of London Jewellery Exports scheme

The British Jewellers’ Association (BJA) will launch British Jewellery Exports this summer, an organisation that will help promote British designers internationally.

The BJA already owns the name London Jewellery Exports and will run the programme, which was once run by the London Development Agency before it ran out of funding, for the next four years, promoting London-based jewellers. Now with the launch of British Jeweller Exports, the BJA can now help to promote jewellers from all over the UK, not just London.

British Jewellery Exports will work in a similar way to London Jewellery Exports; introducing overseas journalists to designers through its website, using the site to educate designers on foreign markets through reports written by other jewellers, and helping young designers to exhibit their work at overseas shows such as Inhorgenta.
