Parisian house embraces latest mobile phone marketing technology.

The Parisian house of Boucheron may be over 150 years old, but it is demonstrating that it is ready to embrace the latest technology with the launch of its first iPhone application.

Images of latest collections of watches and jewellery can be browsed in stunning definition on the iPhone screen, allowing customers to see how the pieces will work with their eyes, wardrobes, accessories and home furnishings.

“Virtual product fitting” allows customers to try on the jewellery pieces in their own homes, according the company.

Having made a selection, customers can then locate their nearest store via their phones and rush off to buy the object of their desires.
Any new additions to the Boucheron collections will be automatically added to the application, which launched in French and English in January.
