British luxury jewellery and watch brand, Links of London, has opened a new pop-up space in Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport, as the trend of transport hub retail grows.

The opening continues Links of London’s significant focus on its international customer and increasing global presence, with the pop-up planned for six months.

The news comes as jewellery retailers are increasingly looking towards major transport hubs as retail hot-spots. Year-on-year gift purchases including jewellery rose by 44% over the third quarter of this year at UK railway stations.

Links of London have one of the biggest presence at railway stations and aim to boost their international offering at Heathrow.

Following from reimagined store designs in its newly refurbished Brook St and Guildford stores, the T5 pop-up is designed to be bright and inviting with a modern layout. Keeping jewellery as the focal point, the Sweetie Bracelet has inspired the Sweetie table feature, with polished gold and silver 3D rings making up the tower of the base.

There are several travel exclusives available at T5, from gift items like playing cards, keyrings and pens to new colour combinations of the Narrative Bracelet and 20/20 necklace.

The 40m2 pop-up captures passengers as they make their way down the escalators to the departure gates, difficult to miss with large illuminated campaign imagery shrouding the store’s access from all angles of approach.
