First-time conference attendee awarded free entry.

For the second year running, Bransom has awarded a scholarship to attend a weekend of speeches, workshops and dinners at The National Association of Goldsmiths’ (NAG) Institute of Registered Valuers (IRV) Conference, held annually at Loughborough University.

Taking place last month, the 2010 IRV conference claims to be the only event in the world that endeavours to appeal to all sectors of the trade, from junior sales staff to senior partners within the retail jewellery industry. At this year’s conference the winner was announced as Sharon Lee of Winsor Bishop in Norwich and she had her fee reimbursed after winning a lucky dip.

Daren Daniels, sales and marketing manager for Bransom, a registered valuer and attendee at Loughborough for 13 years, said: “Sponsoring and attending the conference fits perfectly with Bransom’s ethos – training and on-going education are of the utmost importance.”

Daniels continued: “We hope to help the Institute encourage more people to attend the Loughborough Conference and help promote the benefits of meeting in person some of the most knowledgeable people in the jewellery trade who give up their time to educate all who attend; this is a weekend not to be missed.”
