Bransom has introduced a new live stocktaking system with a web-based user interface, allowing scanners, tills, smartphones or tablets to connect via cloud technology.
The company hopes to reduce the often time-consuming process of preparing, counting, tracking and transferring data associated with till transactions into a simpler format for management.
Bransom’s new bsmart2 stock and business management system connects directly to cloud servers, allowing stock counts to be entered or scanned live via a range of devices. Data can be entered using a shop’s own stock number, alternate stock number, supplier’s stock code and barcode, all with automatic cross-referencing.
Bransom has also developed printable barcode display tray sheets to make identification and data entry far quicker, including sheets for Pandora collections.
Reports can also be generated both during and after the stocktaking session. Management can then select and review all current and completed sessions, and so query or deal with unexpected variations immediately.
