Commercial designs prove a hit for Derbyshire jewellery company.
Jewellery retailer and supplier CW Sellors has announced positive wholesale trading for the year to date, with sales reported to have doubled.
The introduction of commercial jewellery ranges featuring British gemstones have been tipped as driving sales in the early months of 2014. The business is also planning "extra developments" for the year ahead that it forecasts will continue to drive growth.
CW Sellors trade sales manager Andrew Mills said: “We’ve had a very successful year, and 2014-15 will be even stronger for us due to the relationships we’ve built, the new and innovative products we’ve brought to the market, and also being one of the only jewellery manufactures in the UK offering a bespoke service.
"We’ve welcomed Rebecca Sellors into the company as head designer and have seen great results with Rebecca’s CAD CAM work and this augurs extremely well for the future."
CW Sellors said the collections it has put together for its retail partners have increased sales "across all price ranges", with Mills stating that he expects further double digit growth year on year. It is also planning to grow established collections ahead of this summer’s trade shows.
"Our marcasite collection set with Whitby Jet and Derbyshire Blue John has been particularly strong since our IJL launch and we are already expanding the collection and planning another great year," he added.
