Buckley Jewellery pushes for 400 UK doors in 2014

Buckley Jewellery Ltd enjoyed a successful showing at International Jewellery London (IJL), helping the company achieve its goal of more than 400 UK doors by the close of 2014.

The company currently operates three brands; Bouton, Buckley London and Attwood & Sawyer, all of which were presented at the Olympia event.

Buckley London brand director and Hot 100 Business Big Shot 2014, Sam McDermid, commented: “IJL has been excellent for us this year. We have received a fantastic response to our new autumn/winter collections. We have worked very hard to provide our clients with beautiful new designs and merchandising solutions that will drive sales as we move into peak trading.”

McDermid also points to success with international multiples, suggest Buckley Jewellery brands may soon be opening concessions across the international stage.

She continues: “We enjoyed a very productive show at IJL including some significant meetings with major international multiples that we will be following up during the autumn.

“Our collections also received a fantastic reception with our domestic partners and we expect the number of UK doors where all of our brands — Buckley London, Bouton and Attwood & Sawyer — are present to exceed 400 before the end of 2014.”

McDermid also commented on the layout and lighting of the Olympia exhibition space, adding to a number of industry voices who have praised IJL’s venue change.
