British fashion jewellery designer Buckley London has once again designed the annual Poppy collection, a range of official sparkle poppy products, in partnership with The Royal British Legion.
Since 2010, the partnership has enabled the charity to raise over £1 million through the sales of the Poppy collection, favoured by both celebrities and the British public alike.
The 2016 Poppy collection features updates to classic designs, as well as the introduction of exclusive new pieces with a poignant message.
This year’s signature design is ‘Sparkle’ brooch, decorated with over 100 sparkling siam red crystals and finished with delicate olivine green leaves. Available in small and large sizes, each gold tone brooch is engraved with ‘Lest We Forget’ on the back.
The Poppy collection Silhouette brooch pays tribute to those who fought in World War I. Silver tone and highly polished, the design uses traditional red gloss enamel with contrasting shadows of soldiers and displays a powerful message of remembrance.
Finally, Trio of Pins, retailing for just £15, comprises three differing designs. The silver tone trio features a subtle enamel poppy, a heart shaped pin inspired by the sea of ceramic poppies displayed at the Tower of London, plus an Art Deco inspired glossy red poppy with crystal centre detailing.
Founder and owner of Buckley London, Adrian Buckley, comments: “We are proud to launch The 2016 Poppy collection designs and look forward to another fantastic year of fundraising. Buckley London has been a long-time supporter of the Legion and we are delighted to be acknowledged as an official partner of the charity, continuing to help raise funds for such a worthy cause.”
Buckley London donate one third of the RRP from every Poppy collection product sold to The Royal British Legion Trading Limited which gives its taxable profits to The Royal British Legion.
