Bulova hires new product marketing manager

Liam McAllister leaves Swatch Group to join watch brand.

Watch brand Bulova UK has hired Liam McAllister as its new product marketing manager.

McAllister has joined the brand from Swatch Group where he worked on marketing for the group’s Calvin Klein watch and jewellery products. He will be responsible for all marketing activity for Bulova UK as well as contributing to the establishment and development of the brand’s retail accounts in the UK.

McAllisetr will also be working on the brand’s internal communications, implement staff incentive schemes for retailers and keep retailers regularly updated with the latest news from Bulova.

Bulova UK general manager Gordon Dickens said: “I am delighted to welcome Liam to the team at Bulova UK as product marketing manager. With his high level of knowledge of the watch industry and communication strategies, Liam will be focusing on supporting the UK launch to ensure that Bulova is quickly established in the minds of British consumers and to tell the brand’s incredible story.”

The UK Bulova subsidiary was set up in July and has its headquarters in Hertfordshire. The UK division is part of a wider international expansion for the brand, which now has offices in Switzerland, Canada, Mexico and the Far East, as well as the international headquarters in New York.
