Carat* expands with 15-door Goldsmiths deal

Brand to be stocked across mainline and Boutique Goldsmiths stores.

Carat* has won a 15-door deal with Aurum Holdings, owner of Goldsmiths and Boutique by Goldsmiths jewellery stores.

The synthetic diamond and gemstone jewellery brand has secured 11 Goldsmiths doors and four Boutique by Goldsmiths locations across the UK. It will enter the store this autumn with white stone and coloured gemstone collections in 9ct gold and silver.

Carat* chief executive Scott Thompson said: “We are very proud to be a part of Aurums stable of jewellery brands and this partnership is validation of Carat*s permanence in the UK retail jewellery sector.”

The brand recently showcased its collections at Jewellery Show London at Somerset House, having made its Jewellery Show debut at Spring Fair in February. It joined the Houlden group earlier this year, has signed up 50 new independent doors and is planning 10 new shop in shop units in 2013.

Carat* UK wholesale manager Chris Moses said: "This announcement is a reminder of the success and the continuous growth of the Carat* brand for 2013. We are delighted that we will now have a presence in both key Goldsmiths locations as well as partake in the new and exciting Boutique by Goldsmiths store concept too.
