Jewellery brand signs deals for 10 new shop in shop units.
Simulated gemstone jewellery brand Carat* is increasing its presence in the UK market, signing up 50 new doors and plotting 10 new shop in shop units.
Carat* said that the new accounts and shop in shop deals were made at trade exhibition The Jewellery Show earlier this month. It was the first time that the brand had exhibited at the show, and the brand said that it took "substantial" orders from both large retailers and smaller independents.
The jewellery brand has also just struck an alliance with buying group Houlden, becoming an official supplier.
Carat* head of UK wholesale operations Chris Moses said: “We saw an unprecedented amount of interest in Carat* at the Jewellery Show in Birmingham. This further demonstrates the high demand for the brand from consumers around the world who are looking to Carat* as an aspirational, yet accessible luxury fashion jewellery brand.”
The brand is set to continue its wholesale push this year and will next exhibit at The Jewellery Show London in June.
