Films and jewels to wow visitors to store’s Wonder Room.
Cartier is set to take over the concept store space at Selfridges’ Oxford Street Wonder Room, offering visitors a chance to discover its history through iconic jewellery designs and short films.
The brand said the aim of the concept space is to showcase and celebrate Cartier’s creativity as a jeweller and watchmaker.
Visitors will be able to explore two core areas: firstly a specially-created Cartier cinema room with a screen encased in a large Cartier red box, and secondly a room dedicated to the "seven wonders of Cartier" – its iconic jewellery collections – explaining their history with archive imagery.
Visitors to the cinema will be able to watch L’Odyssée de Cartier, the brand’s film that was two years in the making, unveiled last year as it celebrated its 165th anniversary.
Collections on show include Juste un Clou, Trinity, Love, Panthère de Cartier, and the Santos, Tank and Ballon bleu de Cartier timepieces.
The Wonder Room Cartier showcase will open on August 6 and will run through to August 29.
