Dulwich centre to hold first classes through to Janaury 2014.
New jewellery hub Centrepunch has launched its full list of courses for the remainder of 2013, including gemstone setting courses, polishing classes and an enamelling course.
Centrepunch opened last month in Dulwich, south east London, as a space for new or graduate jewellers to further their skills, receive mentoring and build connections within the industry.
The centre has now published its full list of 16 new jewellery and techniques classes, starting this week. The list includes silversmithing classes, gemstone setting courses, beginners’ jewellery classes, an introduction to enamelling and polishing, and finishing masterclasses. The 16 courses have flexible timings, including weekend classes, to fit around participants working lives.
A statement from Centrepunch said: "We have the best courses and we are particularly proud of the calibre of our teaching team. All of our tutors have extensive practice and teaching experience and every course is carefully designed by us."
Centrepunch’s teaching staff includes its founder, goldsmiths Beaulagh Brooks, fine jeweller and stone setter Antonion De Geatani, master polisher Stephen Goldsmith and illustrator Mark Lewis.
