10 graduate jewellers will get free workshop access and support
Lambeth-based training and support company, Centrepunch, has announced a new scheme to help graduates launch their careers.
Continuing its mission to help recent graduates excel in the competitive world of goldsmithing, Centrepunch is opening applications for 10 bursary places.
Each bursary will provide a comprehensive package of support, including free business seminars, networking events and access to Centrepunch workshops in West Norwood throughout 2014.
Centrepunch’s director of education, Beaulagh Brooks, commented: “We are determined to fill a vacuum in genuine support for graduates in the goldsmithing industry and we are very proud to have been asked by Lambeth Council to become a partner in providing training and mentoring to businesses in the Borough and surrounding areas.”
Centrepunch opened in June 2013 as a space for new and graduate jewellers to further their skills, receive mentoring and builds connections within the industry on a flexible schedule.
Bursary applications are open to all graduates from 2012 and 2013. Apply by April 4 for interviews commencing April 14. Successful applicants will start the scheme in May 2014.
