British diamond jewellery manufacturer Chalfen London has released the latest set of dates available for its new diamond sales training course.

The first diamond sales training sessions held by Chalfen of London proved to be a great success, with lots of positive feedback from retailers.

Whittles of Preston assistant manager, John Baxendale, said: “Howard is very knowledgeable and his tremendous enthusiasm about diamonds is contagious. I found the course very worthwhile and would definitely recommend it to other retailers.”

“All of our staff that attended the course had different levels of experience and each of them got something new and different to bring back with them. What made it most interesting was how he turned the traditional philosophy on its head making us look at diamonds and diamond sales in a new light,” added Nicky Acton the Christopher Evans Goldsmiths sales and marketing team.

The new dates are as follows:

May 25th

June 8th

July 7th

July 27th

Bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis. The days are open to all retailers regardless of being a Chalfen customer or not.

Chalfen will pay £50 towards the expenses of sending a member of staff.

Led by managing director of Chalfen, Howard Levine, the objectives of the course are; to understand where diamonds come from and how they reach the market place; to ascertain what makes a good diamond and understand what affects a diamond’s value; and to learn how to use the 4 C’s (carat, colour, clarity and cut), in order to gain trust from the end customer. The course also provides an insight into how the company designs jewellery, as well as an overview of the products and services available from Chalfen of London.
