Chavin teams with ex-Links marketing director

Tibouche Gunn to revamp jewellery brand’s marketing and build sales.

Chavin has teamed forces with former Links of London marketing director Tibouche Gunn to help the ethical jewellery brand develop its global sales and overhaul its marketing.

Gunn worked for Links of London for 10 years from 1990 to 2000 when she left to set up a marketing consultancy called Gunn Marketing & Design with her husband Philip Gunn, who was previously managing director at luxury bath and beauty brand Jo Malone.

Chavin has struck a deal with Gunn Marketing & Design for Gunn to work two days a week with the jewellery brand on a consultancy basis. She will help to shape the brand’s marketing including refreshing its point of sale material and will also help to pursue new sales channels.

Chavin founder and managing director Simon Ogilvie-Harris said: “We heard that Tibouche and her husband Philip [Gunn, former managing director at Jo Malone] had started their own marketing consultancy and knew that when the time was right we’d recruit their services.

“In building a world brand, we need all the expertise we can get. The Gunns are well versed in creating innovative new routes to market and, as next year unfolds, we shall start implementing several imaginative marketing strategies that they have suggested.”

Chavin will exhibit at The Jewellery Show in Birmingham next month where it will show its SS13 collections with Gunn at the show to meet with buyers. Ogilvie-Harris said: “We are looking forward to opening up a great many new UK accounts at the show.”
