Richline plots silver and gold ranges in international outreach.

US company Richline Group has acquired UK charm bangle brand Chrysalis, and plans to upgrade its collections with silver and gold pieces in the coming months.

Richline will also build on the brand’s existing US-based retail portfolio, which currently incorporates 700 doors.

Founders and Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2014 Business Big Shots, Andy and David Maine, will still be involved in the brand although they are expected to stay in the UK while their creation’s head office moves to New York.

Lines are expected to be revamped in silver and gold – bringing higher price points to the brand. Talking to Professional Jeweller, Andy Maine explained that international customers have been requesting sterling silver pieces for some time, and the design process is already under way.

Richline has a history of servicing major retailers, but it is now in the process of putting together a new division to service Chrysalis’ existing independent customers, alongside its other brands Honora and Dolan Bullock.
