American company Richline Group has officially completed a deal with British charm bangle brand Chrysalis, making them the outright owners of the Chrysalis concept.

Founders Andy and David Maine will remain in charge of product development, while heading-up international sales. Their UK-based company Silver Willow, which acted as the parent company to Chrysalis, will now act at the UK distributor of the brand.

Richline Group first acquired Chrysalis in February, suggesting it would work on introducing silver and gold designs alongside its traditional offer of plated-brass charm bangles.

Richline also plans to build on the brand’s existing US-based retail portfolio, which currently incorporates 700 doors.

Richline has a history of servicing major retailers, but it is now in the process of putting together a new division to service Chrysalis’ existing independent customers, alongside its other brands Honora and Dolan Bullock.

To celebrate the ne w arrangement, Richline Group teamed with Chrysalis to create three limited edition bangles in honour of its parent company, Berkshire Hathaway. The designs were available to shareholders at its AGM earlier this month.
