Chrysus buys Abbeycrest Thailand shares

Shareholders told not to expect a return while B&N sale is confirmed.

Administrator Leonard Curtis has announced it has sold the shares of Abbeycrest Thailand to Chrysus Holdco, a privately owned investment vehicle based in Manchester.

Leonard Curtis also officially confirmed Professional Jeweller’s story published on Tuesday that Chysus Trading has also bought up the business and business assets of wedding ring specialist Brown & Newirth.

In a statement released to the London Stock Exchange, Leonard Curtis said that it is “not anticipated that there will be a return to shareholders, however shareholders will be kept informed as appropriate”.

John Malcolm Titley and Andrew Poxon of Leonard Curtis are joint administrators of Abbeycrest.
