Chupi reports 300% rise in sales year-on-year

Multi award-winning Irish jewellery brand, Chupi, has reported a 300% rise in sales year-on-year and plans to build on this success by opening new retail accounts across the UK this year.

Chupi has opened some significant retail accounts in the UK over thepast 12 months, including depatment store Fenwicks, jewellery retailer Silverado and luxury London retailer Wolf & Badger. The brand is now looking to build on this by targeting independent jewellery retail partners, and it will also be making its debut at International Jewellery London  in September.

The Chupi brand was founded by former Topshop designer Chupi Sweetman. Inspired by “wild and natural things”, and each piece is designed, manufactured and finished in Ireland.

The founder comments: “The past 12 months have been a phenomenal success for the brand, and we look forward to building our brand presence further in the UK in 2017.

“I believe that Chupi offers retailers beautiful jewellery with a unique story behind the brand feedback from retailers we work with already has been very positive and we have now invested in implementing a strategy to target consumer and trade media with the aim of replicating our Irish success in the UK,” she added.

Inspired by stars and the night sky, Chupi’s spring/summer 2017 collection features the I’d Be Lost Without You range of 18ct gold-plated rings, earrings and necklaces, adorned  with topaz gemstone. Retail prices start from £80.
