Stylesight’s accessories editor Claire Foster said: "I was delighted to award Claire English with the first Stylesight Trend award. I was impressed by the depth of her concepts and research behind her collection, which I can see appealing to buyers and consumers on a number of levels, reflecting a number of emerging trends for jewellery, from materials to themes.

“Having access to Stylesight as a resource I’m sure will offer Claire the opportunity to enrich her work and also be aware of influential global trends affecting buying, sourcing and overall design," Foster added.

English said of her prize: "It is an honour and a privilege to have been given the trend award for excellence in progressive jewellery design. The prize of a year’s subscription to Stylesight, [which is] a marvellous resource. There is a whole world of fantastic imagery and research that I cannot wait to delve into and explore.

“Overall, International Jewellery London was a vibrant and thrilling event for me – I cherished exhibiting for the first time this year with KickStart’s support. I have begun new relationships with lots more retailers than I could have ever anticipated. I will be joining new outlets in London, across England and in Scotland. As well as this, my jewellery will now be available overseas for the first time," enthused English.
