British businessman and politician, Lord Digby Jones, will be CMJ’s keynote speaker at the UK Jewellery Conference this year.
The conference which runs from Oct 6-7 2015 is open to all CMJ members and CMJ approved suppliers.
The event will once again be hosted by BBC television presenter Bill Turnbull and will take place, for the first time at the East Midlands Conference Centre.
CMJ chief executive, Willie Hamilton, says: “This not-for-profit conference is hosted by CMJ for the benefit of its members and suppliers to promote best practice in business.
“We are pleased to announce that we have secured Lord Digby Jones as our keynote speaker. He is an inspiring and rousing speaker who well understands the challenges of British businesses – large and small – from corner shops to multinationals and his insights will have relevance to everyone attending the conference.”
Born into business, Lord Digby Jones understood the importance of good customer service from a young age. Now an active House of Lords crossbencher, Lord Digby Jones advises across a number of roles, with a vision of promoting socially inclusive wealth creation.
At this year’s UK Jewellery conference Lord Digby Jones will be sharing insights from his expansive business career that covers time at the CBI and 20 years with Birmingham based firm of Lawyers, Edge & Ellison. Lord Digby Jones is also a Guardian at Assay Office Birmingham.
