Regional tour kicked off in Glasgow with 14 members in attendance.
The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) is celebrating the successful launch of its 2014 Regional Meetings programme, designed to bring members together, provide a networking platform and encourage feedback on the company’s strategy.
The first session took place in Glasgow on May 13 and attracted 14 members who put questions to chief executive Willie Hamilton and other members of the CMJ executive team.
Attending members discussed topics including CMJ marketing support and the membership process.
Lee-ona Long of Henry Lyall Jewellers in Ayr said: "I would really recommend this to other members. I feel that it is a great way to network and I look forward to the next one."
CMJ chief executive Willie Hamilton said: "The whole core of these Regional Meetings is for members to feed back to us. The shape of the CMJ has changed dramatically, and the Board has restructured and evolved, so we want to communicate our strategy and emphasise what we can offer our members by coming to see them in their own locality."
More meetings will take place across the UK and Ireland throughout May and June, with a Manchester event gearing up to host 17 members today (May 14).
