80% of exhibitor space for March buying event already booked.

The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has reported its highest ever demand for its next trade buying event, with 80% of its exhibitor space already booked.

The March trade event won early bookings from CMJ supplier members, with event organiser Lucy Reece-Raybould stating: “For the first time ever, we have had extremely early bookings with many of our approved suppliers buying larger floorspaces for bigger and better stands. Brands already booked up for the trade event, which will be held in Birmingham on March 16 to 17 include Pandora, Diamonfire, Shaun Leane and watch brands Casio G-Shock, Frederique Constant and Bulova."

The March trade event promises a focus on summer jewellery and watch collections and will have a summer music festival theme for its evening event.

CMJ chief executive Willie Hamilton said: “We are delighted that our twice-yearly trade events are becoming a big draw for our retail members and our approved suppliers, who are investing significantly more into the shows because they know the value of the business they can generate through the group.

“The CMJ trade events are not just about buying and business but a chance to be entertained, to let your hair down and to network with some of the biggest players in the jewellery industry."
