COLLECTION: Claudia Bradby plays with circus-inspired designs

Specialist pearl jewellery designer Claudia Bradby has launched the Cirque collection, a new range of contemporary silver and natural pink pearl jewellery.

As the name suggests, the design inspiration behind this range came from the designer’s fascination with the excitement and quirkiness of the circus. In particular the mesmerizing trapeze artists and the spirit of freedom and adventure they invoke.

The necklaces, earrings and bracelet within the Cirque Collection have been designed to capture this sense of freedom and movement, resulting in fun, playful pieces that are at the same time enduring and elegant.

The heropiece of the collection is the Cirque silver and pearl lariat necklace; a versatile long necklace that can be worn in several different styles.

This hero piece can be worn in several different ways.

“The lariat really is the hero piece of the new collection as it is so adaptable,” explained Claudia Bradby, director and designer of the namesake brand.  “I like jewellery to work hard for its keep and this necklace can be worn in so many different ways to suit your style and mood – long or as a choker, as a lariat or doubled up and layered.  The beautiful natural pink pearls add the perfect finishing touch for spring and summer.”

The collection also features both stud and long drop earrings which Bradby encourages wearers to mix and match in the adventurous spirit of the collection.

A pendant necklace, bracelet and two stacking rings complete the range, with RRPs starting from £45 for the Cirque silver and pearl ring.

This is the second new collection release from the brand for SS18, following the launch of their silver and rose gold Signature Hearts pieces earlier in the year.
