WINNER Pandora, Shimmering Leaves: Pandora's transition from purveyor of charms to leading silver jewellery brand has been palpable in 2014, with increased product drops and greater focus on rings - which generated 15% of its UK revenue in Q3 – and its design-led silver jewellery offer. This year's Shimmering Leaves range, a capsule collection unveiled this summer ahead of AW14, embodies what the brand has done best: reinterpreting classic shapes and motifs in its signature style. The result is a range inspired by the fragility of leaves, botanical illustrations and fashion's fascination with nature, brought to life with micro-set cubic zirconia and subtle hints of 14ct gold plating. Pieces include a wrap ring, which embraces the finger with flowing leaves, simple studs and drop earrings. With prices from £50, the range has been praised by retailers for offering an elegant selection of pieces, with colourways and styling that suits a variety of customers. HIGHLY COMMENDED Lily & Lotty, Scripted: British brand Lily & Lotty has offered up highlycommercial gift-friendly collections for a number of years now. Ever innovative, it used 2014 to launch its latest offer, Scripted, a range of interlocking silver pendants. The collection offers two lengths of chain and each diamond-set circular pendant is priced at £30, meaning a whole necklace can be built for close to £100. Scripted is described as a response to the growing vogue for personalised jewellery, without the wait for engraving. Featuring words such as Treasure, Wonderful, Sister, Friend and Beautiful, it’s a commercially-driven offer that encourages additional purchases and ticks many gifting boxes. HIGHLY COMMENDED Bouton, Wishbone: The Wishbone collection is Bouton's most well-received range of 2014, securing a place in more than 50 stores across the UK following its launch, including House of Fraser and a number of independent retailers such as Johnsons Jewellers, Francis & Gaye and Rivoli. The two-year-old silver brand, launched by Buckley Jewellery, reports that the entire Wishbone range has been a strong performer, but the star of the collection is undoubtedly the Modern Wishbone Ring (left), in particular in rhodium plate — this piece alone has become one of the Bouton brand’s bestselling pieces ever. The collection has won positive feedback from retailers, press and bloggers alike, who have described it as striking in design yet easy-to-wear. Retailers have been won over by the commercial potential of the range, which is designed to stack in the case of its rings and bangles.
