Consumers give Swarovski vote of confidence as brand wins big at Cosmo Awards

Swarovski celebrated winning Best Statement Jewellery and Lust-Have at the Cosmopolitan Fashion Awards last night (September 17).

The awards, which promote the best in high street retailing, were voted for online by over 10,000 Cosmopolitan readers and judged by an expert panel, including Jameela Jamil, Louise O’Reilly, Farrah Storr (Cosmopolitan’s editor) and Shelly Vella (Cosmopolitan’s fashion and style director).

Other winners at the fashion catwalk event included Topshop, New Look, Next, Evans and H&M. Swarovski was the only brand to win more than one award and won Best Statement Jewellery for the second consecutive year.

The brand’s UK & Ireland retail director, Mark Warren, was recently unveiled as one of Professional Jeweller’s Hot 100 2015 Retail Stars.

Commenting on Swarovski’s consumer success Warren said: “We have in effect gone back to basics, to ensure that we work hard to transform the store experience for each and every one of our consumers. This has involved looking at systems and processes which have reduced more task based jobs in store and through refining structures across all of our boutiques to ensure that we have brand ambassadors available at the right times to assist consumers.

“My training managers spend a lot of time developing and up weighting our training to all brand ambassadors (store colleagues) ensuring that everyone is fully trained on our brand, target consumers and product collections – providing them with all the tools they need to inspire and create desire for Swarovski, but also so that they feel 100% comfortable in advising consumers on choosing the perfect gift to suits all styles and budgets.”

Swarovski recently launched its first collection in collaboration with brand ambassador Miranda Kerr.
