Courtney Love ‘sued by jewellery company’

Jacob & Co accuse Love of not returning jewellery leant to her

Notorious rock starlet Courtney Love is reportedly being sued by Jacob & Co after failing to return several pieces of jewellery leant to her by the company.

A lawsuit filed on Monday by the famous luxury jeweller accuses Love of keeping over $113,700 (£72,015) worth of pieces in September. According to the AP, included in the stash are two gold and diamond necklaces, a mesh bracelet and a pair of white gold and diamond pave earring.

Jacobs & Co has said that Kurt Cobain’s famous widower returned the bracelet but further claimed that she misplace the other jewels. Love has now refused to honour the afore made agreement that she would take responsibility for the items “regardless of loss or damage”.

Jacob & Co is suing for $113,700 or the return of the gems.
