Necklace to be sold in in-flight magazines on up to 700 flights a week
CW Sellors has struck a deal with BMI Baby to supply an exclusive silver pendant based on the low-cost airline mascot Tiny.
The design is the result of consultation between BMI Baby merchandisers and the CW Sellors design and manufacturing team. The piece will be sold through the airline’s in-flight magazine and will be stocked on fourteen Boeing 737 airplanes, which equates to up to 700 flights a week during peak times.
CW Sellors sales manager John Ball said: “The deal marks the coming together of two East Midlands companies, which we feel adds to the strength of the product and our relationship.”
The pendant, priced at £24.99, forms part of a selection of jewellery offered to passengers flying to 31 European destinations from the airline’s four UK airports at East Midlands, Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff.
