Derbyshire’s CW Sellors raised more than £1,700 for charity at its annual Christmas showcase last weekend, boasting a Narnia theme.
The event at Chatsworth House showcased fine jewellery and fashion brands, as well as watches, targeting early Christmas shoppers with competitions, activities and talks from jewellery industry experts.
Guests entered the show through a fur-lined wardrobe, and had the chance to try out a Tissot Superbike simulator, select a real diamond from a sea of cubic zirconias and sip cocktails.
Visitors helped to raise £927 for the NSPCC and £800 for the Derbyshire Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance through a selection of festive activities that also included jewellery cleaning.
A £1,000 shopping spree at CW Sellors was also up for grabs through its Kiss. Snap. Like. Competition, in which guests posted wearing £125,000 of Hans D. Kreiger diamond jewellery under Derbyshire’s largest mistletoe ball, with their photographs posted on Facebook in order to gain likes to win the prize.
