Temporary boutique to occupy the Carriage House shop in the Stables.
Derbyshire-based fine jewellers CW Sellors will open a festive pop-up boutique at Chatsworth House on Friday 24 October, selling a selection of pieces designed and manufactured in England.
In a first for CW Sellors and the Chatsworth estate, the Carriage House shop will be transformed into a boutique selling silver and gold pieces set with Derbyshire Blue John; statement diamond designs; signature collections in Preseli Bluestone and Whitby Jet; antique Victorian suites and a selection of ornaments.
Jewellery designer Rebecca Sellors will also present a range of exclusive collections, alongside gemstone samples, amethyst crystal beads and giftware – providing a unique shopping opportunity in the run-up to Christmas.
CW Sellors founder and director, Chris Sellors, commented: “Chatsworth was one of our first customers and we have consistently worked closely with them to provide their customers with the finest locally made jewellery and have developed collections inspired by the house and estate. Chatsworth is synonymous with heritage, family and quality which are key values that we uphold as a business.”
We have hosted our Christmas Wishes Fine Jewellery & Luxury Watch showcase in the grounds for six years and as an extension of this, 2014 sees CW Sellors becoming the major sponsors of Christmas at Chatsworth and as such we felt it the perfect timing to have a presence, it is fantastic to be able to build on our long standing relationship and explore this new avenue.”
Jennie Higgins who will be managing the boutique commented: “Chatsworth is such a prestigious venue and to have the opportunity to open this kind of boutique is a really exciting project. Our focus is on promoting our beautiful natural gemstones and British manufacturing to a wider audience. As a team we aspire to enthuse customers and for them to appreciate the beauty, uniqueness and provenance of our British gemstones.”
The boutique will be open from Friday October 4 until Sunday January 4, seven days a week.
