Final day for receiving the Commemorative hallmark is next Monday.
Birmingham Assay Office is urging jewellery manufacturers not to miss the deadline to receive the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Hallmark on their pieces.
The final date on which the market can be applied to precious metal articles is Monday, 1 October.
The special commemorative hallmark is an optional mark available from all four UK assay offices in combination with a statutory hallmark. The mark can be used on gold, silver, platinum or paladium.
It depicts a young Queen Elizabeth wearing an oversized crown in a diamond shaped surround. The mark can be struck on gold, silver, platinum or palladium.
