Debut collection fronts new jewellery brand’s pre-Christmas launch

A debut collection of high-end earrings and pendants has fronted new brand Maviada’s launch campaign at London’s Saatchi Gallery. 

The launch, which took place last week precedes the unveiling of its new e-commerce site.

Designed to be colourful, understated and simple, the brand’s SS17 collection is available in a range of cabochon cut gemstones in a variety of colours, including aquamarine, London blue and pink tourmaline.

The pieces are made in either 18ct gold vermeil or 18ct solid gold, in rose, yellow and white. Price points start from £250 and go up to £3,000 for some of the 18ct limited edition pieces.

Maviada said its jewellery is designed to be “personal, playful yet elegant” and is a “new way to look at jewellery”.

The brand’s founder Eda Elbirlik launched Maviada after an international move that prompted a career change from dentistry.

Elbirlik said she wanted to create a brand that “expressed femininity and classic styling that can be dressed up or down”.
